- Click Privacy in the sidebar of the Settings menu.
- Select Public Posts from the sidebar.
- Look to the right of the “Who can follow me” option and click the “Friends” drop-down menu.
- Select “Public” to allow anyone to obey you, along with people who aren’t your friends on Facebook.
To change your follower selection in the Facebook mobile app:
- Open the Facebook mobile app and tap the photo icon at the top left to open your profile.
- Now tap the three horizontal dots to the right of Edit Profile (below your name).
- Select Follow Settings.
- Toggle under “Who can follow me?” the “Public” option.
